Before I get started on what I'm gonna talk about today, I just wanted to say, that you'll probably notice a few changes in the pictures that I'm gonna have in today's pictures. So yes. I actually did get a pixie cut, and I did dye my hair red.
now, moving on!!
today, I'm going to talk about a community of people who have touched my heart more then some of my closest friends even have.
Delight.
Delight, is a Facebook of community of 600+ girls, all pursuing the creative arts and Jesus Christ.
Being involved in Delight has been one of the most life changing things in my life.
These girls have walked with me, prayed with me, and encouraged me through some of the hardest times of my life.
It's an amazing thing, to be able to ask for prayer over anything and everything, and know you will be covered in prayers from girls all over the world.
Or to be able to tell of the good things God is doing, and knowing that you will have hundreds of women praising Jesus with you.
One of the biggest blessings of Delight, has been the friendships I've made.
One friendship in particular has truly changed my life.
This cutie patootie is Kristi.
We started talking over a year and a half ago, and totally hit it off! She's been with me through some of the best and worst seasons of life.
She lives in Florida, and I live in Washington. Soooo, the chances of meeting were small, but we prayed and prayed....and God answered!
God opened so many doors for Kristi to be able to go to a Delight intensive, which was in Eastern Washington!!
So, she flew in this past Sunday night, ( November 8th ) and I got to meet up with her, and spend Monday with her, in Seattle!!
It was honestly one of the highlights of my year, and I'm still kind of in shock that it happened!
Anywho, so that's just one of the many blessings that have come from being involved in Delight.
