Picnic Table Style

Hello everyone!! I am going to try and be more regular with posting! So, here you all go! 

Today I have a little outfit post for you all! I got this skirt at Goodwill today for on 2.50, and the shirt for 1$! :) I was pretty excited. 

At first I wasn't positive what I would do with it, because I liked the retro style of it, but it also seemed a bit on the "Amish" side, if you get what I'm saying. I tried it on, and I still wasn't sure, but I decided to get it and look around for a shirt to go with it.  Let me tell you, that is so much easier said then done. Especially because not a lot goes with it. 

After looking around, I found this simple black v-neck, and decided that would work. I'm actually REALLY glad I bought it, because it's SO comfortable! It seems like it was homemade, which makes me want to learn to sew, so I can make myself some skirts like this. xD 

I'm currently in the process of growing out my hair, and growing my brown hair out. So it's a littttlleeeee crazy. But this has been my go-to hairstyle recently, and I actually really really like it. Plus it's super easy, and GREAT for the summer. 

One of my most recent obsessions has been coloring. It is SO addicting. I could seriously color for hours. 

Coloring is soooo therapeutic. Whenever I'm stressed out or just overwhelmed, coloring is so calming. Just gets my mind off of things.

I'm back!

     
     Hello! So, after what has been one of the most crazy months of my life, I am back! I'm sorry for not posting, but like I said, life has been crazy. God is doing things in my life that are just....well, I don't know. He's growing, stretching, and teaching me things that are bringing me much closer to Him. It's tough, but I am so so grateful that my God is sovereign, and He knows my heart.

     Anywho, what have you all been up to?! The weather in Washington State has been BEAUTIFUL recently!! It's been so fun getting out, and spending time with my many great cousins! The only problem with this weather, is that everybody turns on their air conditioners, and then BOOM. I'm freezing cold again. I guess I just run cold. xD The choir that I was actively involved in, just finished up with our end of the year concert, which I had a duet in!

      Coming up in a few weeks, I'll be doing a drama camp, which I'm quite excited about! Singing has been one of my biggest passions for the past year and a half, and recently, drama has been a passion of mine! I'm *hoping* and praying about possibly getting into musical theatre sooner then later, but we shall see about that one. ;)
  Musicals have always been a favorite of mine. Some of my favorites are Sound of Music, Into The Woods, Phantom of The Opera, Annie, and Fiddler On The Roof. When I was little, I loved "Annie" SO much. Annie was one of the many reasons I wanted red hair. Phantom of The Opera is one of my more recent obsessions, because I actually got to see it live, a few weeks ago. It was SO cool. The songs are so beautiful, and they seem to always be stuck in my head. The only problem would be, I'm an alto, so I have some issues getting up to some of those high notes, that most of the songs seem to have. But, I am working on training my voice to hopefully be able to hit high notes easier. We'll see how that goes. xD

      On a more serious note, recently I found this verse, which I was actually surprised I hadn't found before.
 Psalms 61:2 "Until the ends of the earth I will cry; when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher then I."
Recently, this has been my constant prayer. So many days, I find myself overwhelmed with the things of this life. But it's those times in life when I go to my Savior and find refuge and strength. I am so so grateful for a God who loves me, and gladly accepts me, whatever state I am in, and will lead me through any and every season of life. He is so good!


  Anyway, I'm hoping to get back to blogging more regularly! I guess I just have a hard time coming up with content. So, here's where you can help me! What kind of posts would YOU like to see? Please let me know!
